BACKGROUND
Indonesia Health Economics Association (InaHEA) is the association of experts in the field of health economics in Indonesia. The Bahasa Indonesia name is Ikatan Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesia (IEKI). InaHEA affiliates with International Health Economics Association (IHEA) as the biggest forum of health economics globally. The InaHEA is established to facilitate exchanges of academic and policy concerns on various aspects of health economics in order to strengthen the Indonesian health system.
GOALS AND ACTIVITIES
- Goals
- Improving and developing professionalism of health economists
- Promoting health economics analyses to improve health policy in Indonesia
- Increasing capacity building to ensure sustainable and improved quality of health services in Indonesia
- Activities
- Cooperation with professional organizations and associations in the field of health economics, both at Indonesia and abroad
- Development of InaHEA members, especially in enhancing knowledge and skills by upholding the Code of Professional Ethics
- Capacity Building and Strengthening Health Economics Teaching in Indonesia
- Publishing Jurnal Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesia (JEKI), professional media, scientific works, and other information
- Other activities deemed necessary as long as they do not conflict with the purpose of InaHEA
